Next Build Day: TBD
We are currently fundraising for the next frame.
Where do the houses go?
Fall 2016 - Our latest frame was donated to The Fuller Center for Housing to help those who lost their homes in the spring 2016 flooding in West Virginia.
Spring 2015 - Habitat for Humanity, Bucks County.
Spring 2014 - Habitat for Humanity, Bucks County. The 2014 frame was stood in Croydon, Bucks County, PA. Bux-Mont recently helped put some of the final touches on that house with some trim paint.
Spring 2012 - To help recover from Tornadoes of several years ago, Bux-Mont sent the 2012 frame along with a team to Birmingham, AL. We worked with our good friends from NextStepSTORM to stand the house.
Spring 2011 - The house was stood up and completed summer of 2012 in Bristol, PA. Working with Habitat for Humanity, Bucks County, Bux-Mont was fortunate enough to help with some of the onsite construction.
Help Build Hope
What exactly is Help Build Hope? How does it work?
Help Build Hope is an extension of the ministry of CrossRoads Missions, based out of Louisville, KY. This program allows local churches and communities to come together to frame a house on the church grounds, under the guidance of CrossRoads personnel. With monetary support from local businesses and the sweat of church members and the local community, we frame out walls that are used by a local Habitat for Humanity chapter to construct a finished home.
The budget for a single house build runs several thousand dollars. Most of the money goes towards building materials.
If you're interested in helping financially support a future house build of if you have any questions, you may contact us at HelpBuildHope@buxmontchristian.com.
